about

With a woefully incomplete understanding of what a "latin" rhythm is, this felt latin-esque to me but wasn't recognizably a Bossa Nova or Salsa! I’m now pretty sure that it most closely resembles a spicy, diced tomato, tortilla chip dip (but please feel free to dance if you're so inclined). Shortly after writing this I realized that I’d inadvertently channeled a bit of Tommy Loose’s harp guitar tune, “Deep Breaths,” while writing it! Early 2019, Lowden O23c.
